A mini USB 2.0 4-port hub for use with the VIEW Intervalometer. This provides 4 USB ports instead of the single port on the VIEW. This is useful for multiple cameras, or for connecting the NMX motion controller via USB in addition to the camera.
It's just a cheap hub made by Monoprice, but it's been tested with the VIEW and meets some specific criteria:
- It does not have an indicator light (so it won't ruin the foreground in a day-to-night shot)
- It's been reliable in testing, running sequences well over 1000 frames without disconnects
- It can optionally be externally powered with a mini 5vdc barrel plug
